4 Colour Process
4 colour process is used to create colour screen and digital images. The four colours being CMYK or Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and BlacK (although technically black is not a colour). Together a mixture of CMYK provides colour output.
DPI
Dots per inch used to measure image resolution. Also refer PPI.

Ability of printing ink to adequately adhere to vinyl so as to avoid being removed easily.

Clear protective coating applied to finished print job to protect from UV.
PMS
Pantone Matching System
PPI
Pixels per inch used to measure image resolution. Also refer DPI.

3M's material used in the production of digitally printed decals.
Resolution
A measure of sharpness and clarity of image when enlarged from artwork files. Usually specified as a measure of Dots Per Inch (DPI) or Pixels Per Inch (PPI).
